Castelletto di Brenzone(VR) – Restoration and conservative rehabilitation of a small historical convent

The project has concerned the restoration of an former convent in order to realize a small residential complex of seven units. 

The original frame was in a precarious conditions due to an emptying intervention of the building and to a previous roof restoration which was never completed.

The project initially regarded the static safety of the building, then some  original elements as arches, mullioned windows were brought back to light  in order to enhance the value of the building and some new elements aimed at protecting the peculiarity of the building were also added.

The project also included the modification of the street way and the creation of a terrace system in order to create the adequate space for a public parking, some garages under the street level and green areas for the building
